What is love??

What is love??  Rev. Ricky Jones reminded us yesterday in his sermon that it isn't always a feeling.  It's a decision that you make on a daily basis.  Love isn't always feeling like you are on cloud nine, even though it can feel that way sometimes.  It is always wanting what is best for that person that you love.  It's putting them first and yourself second.  With a child, it can be discipline and boundaries even when it makes us, as parents, feel bad sometimes.  It's demonstrating grace to them even though they may not deserve it.  God loves us so much that he sacrificed his Son to what he hates most for our greater good.  He extends Grace to us in ways that we may never see because he loves his children.  I can't imagine what life on earth would really truly be like if God did not give us Grace on a daily basis.  It could literally be "hell on earth".  Love isn't always easy, however, we should love because God loves.  Experiencing and demonstrating love through Jesus Christ and a relationship with God is the only way life is really worth living.
