Funny girl

Alea is such a mess.  The more I spend time with her and get to know her the more she makes me laugh.  She has really developed a funny personality these past couple of months and has so much energy.  I don't know about other babies but she squirms constantly and can never seem to make up her mind about being held or put down.  She always has her eye and something and never misses a thing.  I think I'm being sneaky when I move something I don't want her to have as she's looking the other way but she always knows when I'm up to something.  If this is any indication of how she'll be when she's older I am in for it.
Alea is already trying to talk, of course it only comes out as baby babble but she uses all sorts of sounds and has extended conversations with her toys.  It is ADORABLE to say the least and so much fun to witness.  She has also discovered that she can climb over things to get to where she wants to go resulting in a few bangs of the forehead on the floor but it doesn't stop her.  We're not sure how close to walking she is but she is an expert at pulling up on things and has attempted to take steps while supported by whatever she has a hold of.
One of Alea's favorite things to do, as of yesterday, is knock over her books so we spend lots of time during the day stacking her books and  knocking them over.  I am trying to find a set of wooden blocks for her but haven't had any luck yet.  I want some that will make noise when they fall.
When Alea is feeling 100 percent she is such a happy baby.  She smiles all the time and laughs at everything.  We get the biggest giggles from her by simply sticking out our tongues or showing her our teeth.  I don't know why but apparently this is hysterical.  Children are incredible , one day they'll have you pulling your hair out and the next day standing amazed at how happy they make you.  Alea is a true Blessing and we are enjoying every minute of time spent with her.
